What are the opening hours?

Bike hire shop Valentin Playa de Muro:
High season (Spring & Autumn): Core hours daily from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Summer: Hours may vary depending on demand. Usually 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Alternative pick-up/drop-off by arrangement.
Winter: No fixed hours. Pick-up and drop-off only by prior arrangement.

Bike Rental Palma de Mallorca:
Main season March, April, and May
Daily, including Sundays: 9:00–11:00 a.m. and 5:00–6:00 p.m.

Can I pick up the bike the night before?

Pick-up the night before is possible if bikes are available and ready. The team at the bike shop will inform you about the availability.

Do I have to bring my own pedals?

Our road bikes are rented without pedals. All other bikes come with flat pedals. For road bikes, we recommend bringing your own pedals during high season. SPD MTB, SPD SL, and Look pedals are available on request for €1/day.

Can I rent shoes?

Yes, we have a limited number of shoes available. Please request by email.

Can I insure my rental bike?

Insurance is offered additionally and covers damage to your bike caused by an accident. Tire damage of any kind, bike parts and/or accessories lost during the rental period as well as theft are not covered.  

In case of damage, a deductible applies. Insurance can also be added at pick-up.

Is there a minimum rental period?

During high season (16.02–31.05), a minimum rental period of 3 days applies to reservations. On-site, bikes can sometimes be rented for a shorter period depending on availability. During Ironman and M312 week, triathlon bikes and Carbon Road Bikes with Di2 require a minimum of 5 days, even if rented for less.

Can I book a bike fitting?

Adjustments such as saddle position (height, tilt, forward/backward) are included in our rental service. A professional bike fitting is available for an extra fee depending on the time required. Our team on-site will provide details.

Which bike model will I get?

We only confirm bike categories, not specific models or gear setups. Requests are forwarded to the on-site team and accommodated if possible.

What is the range of the e-bike?

Average range is 80 km and depends on support level, terrain, rider weight, and elevation. We also offer range extenders (external batteries) for rent, increasing capacity by 70%. While the main battery powers the motor, the range extender charges the main battery.

Can the rental bike be delivered?

Delivery is generally possible depending on location and rental period. During high season, delivery is only offered for groups meeting a minimum rental price. Please request via email at post@active-mallorca.com and we will check availability and provide more details.

How can I pay for my reservation?

Pre-reservations must be paid by bank transfer at least 30 days before arrival. For spontaneous rentals on-site, payment is possible at pick-up. During high season (Feb–May & Sep–Oct), early booking is strongly recommended to ensure availability.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Cancellations are free up to 15 days before the rental start. Up to 8 days before, 50% of the rental price is charged. From 7 days before, no refund is possible.

Are Garmin & Wahoo mounts available?

Some of our Carbon Disc Di2 road bikes are equipped with Garmin or Wahoo mounts. Please indicate your request when booking. Other categories are not equipped with Garmin or Wahoo mounts.
